Breathing new life into dilapidated buildings on a Brownfield site through significant investment and planning.

Alliance acquired an 18.5 acre brownfield site, previously owned by a transmission manufacturer. Dilapidated buildings were on the site and the surrounding area in need of significant regeneration.

Alliance worked closely with Salford City Council to create a detailed planning application for a £40million development scheme to improve the site and surrounding area for existing residents and businesses.

A two-day public consultation was held and feedback incorporated into the changes made by Alliance to create a new link between the proposed development and Blackleach Country Park.

Following a positive consultation, plans for a mixed-use scheme including 167 homes of various sizes, public open space, access to the country park and a small modern industrial park, were submitted and approval granted.
