Founded by David Russell (CEO), Property Alliance Group is led by an established Manchester-based team of RICS qualified property professionals with many years' combined experience across all real estate sectors in the local market.

Alliance’s extensive portfolio is centred around Manchester and the North West but with a presence in many other towns and cities throughout the UK.

The 40-strong team has established a reputation for delivering high quality, landmark projects and achieving record rents, as well as successfully repositioning troubled assets working with the banks or private clients and for building strong tenant relationships, maintaining a consistently low void rate.

Since 2009, £43million of occupier-led developments have been completed, simultaneously Alliance has provided asset management advice to a number of banks. From 2011, Alliance has been involved in the management and sale of 64 assets at a value of £271m.

The Board

Ewan Wyse

Ewan is a main board Director and shareholder of Alliance and is responsible for the finance, accounting, debt funding and reporting for the group and it’s joint venture partnerships. He joined Alliance in 2003, having spent the previous four years as Finance Director for the David Russell owned Vickers Electronics, which he exited after overseeing a management buyout. Prior to this, Ewan worked for two companies as a Financial Controller and Commercial Director.

David Russell

CEO and founder of Property Alliance Group David has a proven track record for building large, national professional teams and has an enviable record of maintaining successful partnerships, both with national companies, niche independent practices and local councils. David’s, meticulous attention to detail and flair for design has established Alliance as design and quality ambassadors with an unrivalled in house management team who take great pride in the portfolio.

Alex Russell

Alex joined Alliance in 2014 and is the group’s MD. Alex is responsible for the acquisition, sale and asset management of commercial assets at Alliance and is the principal contact in the joint venture with ARES. Prior to joining Alliance he was Director and head of CBRE Manchester’s commercial office team and has been responsible for a number of Manchester’s largest letting deals over his career. Alex is a chartered surveyor and has a degree in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University.

Ella Magill

Ella joined Alliance in 2007 to head up the Property Management team and as a main board Director, she now oversees the Development and Asset Management teams as well as the Property Management team. Her day to day role includes the running of the existing portfolio, maximising asset values, mitigating liabilities, lease structuring, liaison and advising on development and asset management projects.
