“I first became involved with Property Alliance Group in 2002 when they were appointed to build a 50,000 sq ft warehouse / manufacturing unit for TRW at Mill Hill, North West Industrial Estate, Peterlee on a design build basis.

The building was then very soon remodelled by them for electronics manufacturing, at a total cost of £3.5m.

The building was erected on time within a 26 week programme and on budget, and the electronics fit out included building alterations and very complex services and air conditioning, with the 28 week project completed on time with phased handovers to allow the company to continue operations.

TRW Automotive employs 63,000 people in 25 countries, and had annual turnover of $12.6b in 2005. I am responsible for their real estate in Europe and Asia Pacific, involving inter alia many large construction projects. I can say with my 48 years experience in the industry I have only rarely been involved with a company that provides the all round performance that Property Alliance Group have produced. Much of this arises from a company culture that is heavily client focussed, but without the professionalism they produce this would not count for too much. What they promise they produce, and this is refreshing in today's culture.
