Property Alliance Group has let a 43,500 sq ft industrial unit in Morecambe to a leading manufacturer of health and beauty products.
Design Plus Health and Beauty is expanding into the property, which is located on the White Lund Industrial Estate, around four miles from junction 34 of the M6.
Mark Dugan, operations director of Design Plus Health and Beauty said: “This lease enables us to significantly expand our business in a location which offers excellent transport links.
It allows us to consolidate our multi-site warehousing under one roof in very close proximity to our manufacturing site. We’re committed to staying in Morecambe so will be making further investments in the property to tailor it to our needs. ”
Ian Hunter, director at Alliance added: “The previous tenant moved out of the property towards the end of last year and we have since invested £350,000 on a refurbishment to help upgrade the space. This combined with the unit’s location make it ideal for Design Plus Health and Beauty. As well as being close to the train station, the property benefits from the new M6 link road, which joins it directly to junction 34 of the M6.”
