Maximising a development site's potential to its full

On a challenging, pocket-size site on Albion Street, the spectacular £16.5million AXIS development is due to be completed in Autumn 2009.

Property Alliance Group gained planning consent to develop the UK's tallest office building with a single core staircase. Consent also includes the approval to incorporate a 50m x 12m LED advertising video wall in the northern elevation.

Designed by HKR Architects, the 18-storey, fully glazed tower will provide 73,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation with floorplates of 4,500 sq ft by cantilevering the building over the canal.

AXIS is located opposite the new development by Morgan Stanley and Ask, First Street, where 3.8million sq ft of mixed use space is being developed.
