Property Alliance Group has delivered two new industrial schemes for occupiers in Greater Manchester, both of which have been built to suit.
The developments include a new purpose-built facility for LGC Standards, a proficiency testing provider. The building has been constructed next to the company’s existing premises at Chamberhall Business Park in Bury, providing an additional 13,000 sq ft of industrial and office space to accommodate 50 new members of staff.
To enable LGC to expand, Alliance acquired the neighbouring land and secured planning permission on the company’s behalf, ensuring they could build the new facility and stay in Bury.
Meanwhile in Leigh, Wigan, a 12,500 sq ft design-and-build unit has been completed for APL Aerial Platforms in Greenfold Way. Future expansion, including a training facility, has also been agreed with works due to begin shortly.
The building forms part of a new 10-acre industrial scheme, which is being brought forward by Alliance and includes two-acres of outdoor storage space now let to enforcement company NSL. Subject to detailed planning permission, another plot is also earmarked for development offering 15,500 sq ft of floorspace.
Frank Taylor, head of industrial at Alliance said: “The completion of these units underlines our commitment to working in partnership with tenants and occupiers to deliver flexible schemes that can meet their needs now and in the future.
“The industrial sector remains strong and we are actively seeking to expand our portfolio across the north west and beyond, including new developments and refurbishment and asset management opportunities.”
